Head to National Trust property The Vyne, on the Summer Solstice and celebrate two remarkable milestones: Basingstoke Symphony Orchestra’s 95th season and the 250th birthday of Jane Austen. Featuring a special performance of Carl Davis’ Theme from Pride and Prejudice, in honour of the beloved novelist’s deep connection to the area. Set against the stunning backdrop of The Vyne, a historic Tudor house surrounded by 1,500 acres of lush gardens and woodlands, this event offers the perfect blend of music, history and natural beauty. In celebration of this milestone, The Vyne is hosting the 95th anniversary concert for free, with all proceeds going towards Basingstoke Symphony Orchestra.
Soak in the peaceful atmosphere, immerse yourself in the music and step into a moment of living history under the summer sky.
