The multi-award winning folk duo Megson presents a delightful concert experience for little ones in The Forge at Anvil Arts. 

This family friendly show blends heavenly vocals and lush harmonies into a gentle, interactive concert specially for younger children. Between each song, Stu and Debbie playfully involve the audience introducing ideas, the instruments and stories that feature in the songs.

Driving rhythmic guitars  beloved children’s folk songs, and fresh new tracks from their albums When I Was A Lad, and Little Bird all feature in the show.

Four times nominated in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and double winners of the Spiral Earth Awards, Megson - comprising Debs Hanna (vocals, whistle, piano accordion) and Stu Hanna (guitar, mandola, banjo) - create a truly unique brand of folk music. They have gained a reputation for their arresting and intelligent songwriting, and also for their exquisite musicianship and northern humour.

The show is suitable for those aged up to eight years old, with a running time of 45 minutes (no interval).
