Florence Foster Jenkins is about to blow your mind… and possibly your eardrums in the feel-good comedy Glorious! The Story of Florence Foster Jenkins, starring Wendi Peters (Coronation Street) as Florence Foster Jenkins and Matthew James Morrison (EastEnders), as Cosme McMoon.

At The Haymarket from Thursday 23 to Saturday 25 April, Glorious! follows Florence’s journey as she prepares for her concerts, builds an unlikely friendship with her accompanist, Cosme, and defies her critics to follow her dreams.

Dubbed ‘the worst singer in the world,’ Glorious! is the true story of American socialite Jenkins, who was known for her flamboyant costumes, enigmatic performances, and decidedly off-key voice.

Wendi is best known for her long-running role as Cilla Battersby in ITV’s Coronation Street, and most recently has been a regular on the BBC show Doctors as Nina Bulsara. Matthew is best known as Felix Baker in BBC’s hit soap opera EastEnders.
