Japanese drumming ensemble Kodo bring the spirit of the taiko to The Anvil on 3 February 2024. Kodo, the most recognised and renowned troupe in the world, are based on Sado Island, Japan, and have played a significant role in popularising taiko drumming, both in Japan and abroad – forging new directions for a vibrant living art-form. The power and precision of their playing is breathtaking.
