Love Basingstoke Presents returns this October half-term for three frightfully fun days of entertainment! Join us for a selection spooktacular activities, perfect for children aged 3 to 13. Little monsters can enjoy magical moments, creative crafts, and eerie adventures - all free of charge.

Caving experience

Dare to go underground this Halloween! Grab your helmet and head torch, then crawl, climb and squeeze your way through a twisting two-level tunnel system. Watch out for eerie stalactites, stalagmites and secret ball-pit sumps along the way.
Room for up to 10 explorers at a time. Recommended age: 5+.
Makendoo Halloween mask-making

Get crafty this October half term with Makendoo’s drop-in workshops! Create and decorate your own spooky masks – choose from pumpkin, witch, vampire or skull designs and bring your Halloween character to life. No need to book, just drop in and get making!

Basingstoke Witches Pre-halloween Party: A Bewitching Bonanza!

Get a head start on the spooky season with the Basingstoke Witches for a some mischievous Halloween fun! Join on the day before Halloween for a frightfully good time, playing all your favourite Halloween games like Pin the Wart on the Witch and the terrifying Tombstone Toss.
And that's not all! Bring the little monsters along so they can debut their Halloween costumes. The cackling coven will cast their critical eyes and sharp tongues over every creation, we will make sure that are wickedly well prepared for the big day! (Great to get at least two days wear out of that outfit!)
Potion Making

This October half term, bring your little witches and wizards for a spook-tacular Potion Making session with See Scents! Children can drop in and create their very own magical potions using fun, safe ingredients and take their potion home in a special bottle!
Mrs Sprockets Rocket Rescue
Enjoy a magical interactive story time performance designed especially for children! Set against a mini themed backdrop with seasonal décor, this engaging session brings stories to life through puppets, props, music, and movement. There will also be a free colouring sheet and sticker for every child to take home!
Perfect for young children and families, this is a fun, creative experience that encourages imagination and participation. Don’t miss out on the fun!

Find the hidden pumpkins hidden around War Memorial Park and return for a treat. Starts at the Orchard Community Cafe (TBC). Pick up a trail map from 11am until 2pm.
