With three Grammys and a career spanning over three decades, she’s a defining figure in Americana, blending blues, folk, rock and Southern storytelling like no one else. From the raw power of Car Wheels on a Gravel Road to the dark brilliance of Good Souls Better Angels, Lucinda has built a catalogue that’s both revered and deeply personal.

She confronts America’s socio-political chaos head-on with her forthcoming album World’s Gone Wrong (out January 23rd via Highway 20 Records). It’s a raw and unapologetic set of songs that were written and recorded with a sense of urgency during the spring of 2025. Throughout nine original tracks, Lucinda Williams offers songs that chronicle our times and challenge us to rise above them. The album reaffirms Williams’ place as one of the most vital and uncompromising voices in American music.

Live, she’s magnetic, gritty, poetic, and unfiltered – don’t miss this opportunity to see her in Basingstoke.

Support is from Ben de la Cour, who weaves evocative stories with his signature ‘Americanoir’ sound.

Tickets are priced at £54, £49, £44, £41.50 (includes £4 booking fee). Visit the Anvil Arts website or call the Anvil Arts box office on 01256 844244.
