Americana comes to Basingstoke when Anvil Arts hosts its next ‘Nashville Meets London presents!’ on Friday 24 October when British folk-Americana band The Wandering Hearts perform at The Haymarket on Friday 24 October.

 Known for their stunningly rich harmonies, the trio bring their latest album, Déjà Vu – a reimagining of the 1970 album by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young – to the stage with a special live performance.

 Their take on the 10 songs from the album, that left an indelible mark on the music world, is joyous, and with two female voices – Tara Wilcox and Chess Whiffin - and one male – AJ Dean, each song has a different spin from the originals. Tara vows “It’s a record with so many different emotions, it’s going to be so powerful to play these songs live to people.”

 Breathing new life into well-loved songs with heartfelt storytelling and fresh energy, The Wandering Hearts bridge generations of folk, Americana and rock proving great music transcends time. Their music has drawn comparisons to the likes of Fleetwood Mac and The Lumineers, earning them a devoted fan base on both sides of the Atlantic.
