Overton Jane Austen Trails Community Event
Friday 6 to Sunday 8 September 2024

Ahead of the 250^th anniversary of her birth in 2025, The Mayor of Basingstoke & Deane will launch the new Overton Jane Austen Trails to the local community on Saturday 7 September, to celebrate Overton’s heritage and to put the village on the Jane Austen map.

Join them for a special weekend of free events to launch the Overton Jane Austen Trails. This event is an opportunity to celebrate our village’s heritage and our connection to Jane Austen, ahead of the 250th anniversary of her birth in 2025.

Events take place from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 September 2024.
