Join Whitchurch Silk Mill for their first weaving festival! Discover more about the Mill's heritage of weaving, with guest speakers and workshops across the weekend.

A weekend packed with all things weaving, experience Whitchurch Silk Mill like never before! With guided tours, demonstrations and workshops, there will be plenty of entertainment for weaving fans of all ages.

They will be joined by members from Hampshire Guild of Weavers Spinners and Dyers demonstrating different types of weaving, offering plenty of chances to have a go. They will also be pleased to exhibit work made by members of the Grange at Bookham, who have used some of the Mill's silk to create embroidered works of art.

In addition to the festival, there will be a number of bookable workshops for adults that include festival admission, such as:

Weftival – Weave a Wall Hanging workshop
Weftival – Production Tour
Weftival – Learn to weave basics

This event is raising funds for preserving living weaving heritage at Whitchurch Silk Mill.

Tickets are now available, all tickets are valid for the full weekend, please purchase via the website. Annual passes are also accepted for this event.
