The Manor House - A Gertrude Jekyll restored Hampshire Garden

The garden opens on 1 May 2024 for visitors.
A Gertrude Jekyll restored Hampshire Garden in Upton Grey.

Gertrude Jekyll designed this important historic garden in 1908. John and Rosamund Wallinger bought the almost derelict property in 1984, not realising that underneath the jungle was the foundations to a very special garden, designed for a house belonging to Charles Holme, a leading figure in the Arts and Crafts movement.

There is a formal garden, a wild garden and kitchen garden.
