Coming from such an active background, it only seemed fitting that one day, Farah would open her own fitness studio in the town she grew up in. You may already be familiar with this international Strongwoman; she's been running her business, Fonseca Fitness, in Basingstoke for 10 years.

Mary

After being made redundant in 2019, Mary wanted a change. Rather than staring at a screen every day, she turned to something that brought her joy; people and coffee. Inspired by the quaint coffee shop vibes of neighbouring Winchester, Mary sought to open her own coffee shop. In no time at all, she opened Willows, the town centre’s first dog-friendly coffee shop named after her own loveable pup, and supported fellow coffee lovers and crafters throughout the pandemic.

At 10 years of age, Jan and his family moved from the Philippines to live in the United Kingdom. They chose Basingstoke for its job opportunities and being a great place for their family to grow up in both urban and countryside environments.

Unfortunately, before he even got going, he became another casualty of the pandemic, finding himself without an income for six months. Rather than accept defeat, he turned his van into a mobile coffee business and hasn’t looked back.
