Basingstoke digital marketing agency certifies as a B Corporation

Basingstoke digital marketing agency The Typeface Group has become a B Corporation, joining a growing group of companies reinventing business by pursuing purpose as well as profit.

Certified B Corporations meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability.

There are around 4,000 B Corp businesses worldwide and around 400 in the UK, but they are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.

The Typeface Group has been certified by B Lab, the not-for-profit behind the B Corp movement, after meeting rigorous social and environmental standards.

The B Corp certification addresses the entirety of a business’ operations and covers five key impact areas of Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers. The certification process is rigorous, with applicants required to reach a benchmark score of over 80 while providing evidence of socially and environmentally responsible practices relating to
energy supplies, waste and water use, worker compensation, diversity and corporate transparency. To complete the certification, the company will legally embed their commitment to purpose beyond profit in their company articles.
