Business Growth Factory launches in Basingstoke and Deane

A dynamic new programme designed to accelerate early-stage business success is launching in the borough. The Basingstoke and Deane Business Growth Factory is a six-month programme offering expert-led clinics and hands-on workshops to help local entrepreneurs and startups thrive.

Run by The IncuHive Group in partnership with Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and supported by BizSpace on Basing View where the activities will be delivered, the Business Growth Factory is designed to spark innovation, build resilience and help local ventures thrive in Basingstoke and Deane’s future-facing, inclusive economy. 

The programme combines structured 12-week cohorts with accessible, flexible drop-in options, empowering local businesses to explore and grow, all within Basingstoke’s thriving enterprise landscape. 

A variety of support and resources will be offered, including: 

• Flexible Programme Pathways: Choose between two structured 12-week cohorts (clinics, workshops, and webinars) or flexible roll-on/roll-off access with drop-in mentoring and workshops. 

• In-Person Clinics: Two days a week at Belvedere House, offering one-to-one mentoring, peer groups, urgent drop-in support and progress tracking. 

• Workshops: Practical, expert-led sessions on key growth stages, from market validation and modelling to marketing, operations and investment readiness, delivering tangible outputs like draft business plans and investor pitches. 

• Virtual Webinars: Bi-monthly sessions on legal, financial, tech and sales essentials. 

• Networking: Monthly events to connect, share progress and celebrate success, building a strong peer community. 

This blended model ensures every participant, whether imagining a startup or expanding an existing business, accesses practical, high-quality support. The focus is on fostering entrepreneurship, building confidence and removing barriers to growth, stimulating local economic development and sustainable self-employment. By embedding peer support networks and delivering measurable progress, the Business Growth Factory will strengthen Basingstoke and Deane’s business ecosystem.
