Celebrating Christmas with colleagues in Basingstoke and Deane
It might feel a little early, but some of our favourite local venues have started unveiling their plans for this year’s holiday celebrations. Ideas for smaller teams
If you have a smaller team or a party night isn’t for you, there are still ways to celebrate with colleagues or friends.
Escape the office and get the team together at the Escape Hunt in Festival Place. You can book for 24 people across four rooms on the website. For larger numbers you’ll need to give them a call. There are also online options available for remote teams who cannot meet in person.

Shared and exclusive party nights
There is no shortage of party nights locally, these are just the ones that have announced dates for 2025.
Party with friends or colleagues at The Hampshire Court Hotel on 28 and 29 November then throughout December.
The Apollo Hotel have party dates from the end of November and throughout December. The package includes a three course dinner, half a bottle of wine per person and a DJ.
You can enjoy shared or exclusive Christmas Party Nights at Oakley Hall Hotel. Shared party nights run on Saturday 6 or Friday 12 December with a minimum of eight required for bookings. For exclusive use you can choose dates from mid November and throughout December. Packages include drink on arrival, three-course meal with tea and coffee and entertainment. They have free parking and a free cloakroom.
Beechdown presents Winter Wonderland with shared party nights in November and December 2025 and include dinner and disco.
You can enjoy shared magical Christmas Party Nights at Sandford Springs, located on the A339 in Kingsclere. The package includes a prosecco reception, magician, three-course Christmas Dinner and disco and dancing until late. Available on Friday 5, Saturday 6, Friday 12 and Saturday 13 December. They have a private room for parties of more than 40 people. If you are looking for a private party option they are offering these on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 November, Thursday 11 and 18 December and Friday 19 December.
At Weybrook Park Golf Club you’ll be greeted with a glass of fizz on arrival followed by a three-course festive meal then dance the night away with hits from their resident DJ.

Arranging your own party
If you’d rather arrange your own party you’ll find a number of community centres in the borough have halls that can be hired. We know that Oakridge Hall for All, Viables Community Centre, Chineham Village Hall, Brookvale Village Hall and Hatch Warren Community Centre all have space for parties to hire.
