Try something new with Create and Discover

What if your next favourite hobby is right on your doorstep?

Create and Discover is a playful new challenge inviting you to explore the incredible creative and cultural experiences across Basingstoke and Deane. From hands-on workshops to live performances, this campaign is all about trying something new, discovering local venues, and building new creative habits along the way.

Simply pick up a Create and Discover scratch card, choose an activity that sparks your curiosity, and dive in. Each time you complete an activity, you scratch it off your card and unlock a reward connected to that experience.

Whether you're feeling artistic, curious, adventurous, or just looking for a great night out, there’s something waiting for you.

How does it work?

Getting started with Create and Discover is easy:

  1. Pick up your card - collect a Create and Discover scratch card from any participating venue (listed below).
  2. Choose your activity - choose an activity from your card that sparks your curiosity, whether it’s something creative, cultural, or completely new to you.
  3. Give it a go - step outside your usual routine and try something different. Creativity and culture are for everyone, and this is your chance to explore what’s on your doorstep.
  4. Scratch and reveal - Completed the activity? Scratch off the panel and uncover your reward.
  5. Stamp and redeem - show your card to a member of staff at that venue to get it stamped and redeem your reward.
  6. Keep the momentum going - pick your next activity and continue your journey. The more you take part, the more you’ll discover. How many can you complete before the end of the year?
