The Basingstoke Biz team recently spoke to Basingstoke-based B2B Expos. As they gear up for the Basingstoke event this month, we wanted to find out what attendees can expect but also what they think about working in Basingstoke and the future.

Tell us about B2B Expos

B2B Expos is the UK’s largest network of local business to business expos. Founded and launched in Basingstoke in 2011, the Basingstoke Business Expo is one of the country’s longest running business shows for small, local businesses.

What is the Basingstoke Business Expo?

The Basingstoke Business Expo is a free to attend networking event and exhibition. The next event is taking place on Thursday 22 February at the Apollo Hotel. Over 300 people attend the event, making it Basingstoke’s largest networking event of it’s kind.

What are the key features and highlights of the expo?

As well as a busy exhibition room with exhibitors showcasing the best of Basingstoke, there will also be a number of free seminars, interactive workshops and a speed networking session with Hampshire Chamber of Commerce.

Why should businesses attend?

Whether you work for a large business with head offices in Basingstoke or if you’re a sole-trader who works from home, the business expo is the ideal place to connect, network and grow with other businesses in the area. It’s a great place to meet other like-minded people who can support you in starting or growing a business.

We know you are based in Basingstoke – can you tell us what it’s like working here?

Basingstoke is a fantastic place for us to be based. It’s central location not just in Hampshire, but within the south, has enabled us to grow in all directions. We now run events across the south and right up to the Midlands, all thanks to our central location in Basingstoke.
