The Get Launched collective, brings together Incuhive, Root21, BizSpace, VWorks at Village Hotel and Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council to provide a buzzing eco-system that new businesses need to thrive in.

Enterprise M3 (Local Enterprise Partnership)

Enterprise M3 is a business-led Local Enterprise Partnership based on Basing View. It is one of 39 in England that are working to secure economic growth at sub-national level.

The Enterprise M3 area stretches from the edge of London to Whiteley covering mid to north Hampshire and south west Surrey. Enterprise M3 brings together business leaders from 14 district authorities across two counties and has four major interconnected urban centres, known as ‘Growth’ towns, at Woking, Guildford, Farnborough and Basingstoke.

It brings together leaders from the business, public and not-for-profit sectors and provides the vision, knowledge and strategic leadership needed to drive sustainable private sector growth.

Alongside Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, many local business and colleges play an active role in partnership with Enterprise M3 to secure funding to support economic growth in the area. This is done through the ‘Growth Deal’ with the government.

Hampshire Chamber of Commerce

Hampshire Chamber of Commerce is owned and led by its membership comprising of local business organisations of all sectors and sizes. It holds over 100 events a year including an annual conference to give members the opportunity to learn, meet new contacts and promote their business. It has a number of area policy committees including one in Basingstoke, as well as specific committees dealing with planning and transport and professional services.

It also has a range of services to help with health and safety, legal issues, human resources and tax. Access is unlimited and free for members. Suitable for businesses of all sizes, the helplines are there to help you make the right decision for your business and download relevant documents to save time and money.

With two international trade offices, Hampshire Chamber of Commerce provides support, advice and training courses to businesses in all areas of international trade development and exporting.

EBP South

EBP South provides links between education and business. Your company can get involved and play a part in inspiring the next generation by allowing your staff to support with a one-off morning, afternoon or day at a local school, attending a careers fair or providing work experience opportunities.

Employee volunteering

The Basingstoke Voluntary Action Volunteer Centre advertises a variety of locally-based volunteering opportunities. These may be of interest to companies who wish to achieve their corporate social responsibility (CSR) objectives. These include short term (8 to 16 hours) team-based projects, such as decoration of a room, garden clearance or a fundraising event, as well as individual opportunities to share specific skills, such as setting up a simple database, offering training, or independently checking accounts.
