Lucy Beaumont

A female with two pairs of arms in front of a drawing.

After costing a gameshow contestant £79,000 on primetime TV and spectacularly flopping on Mastermind, Lucy Beaumont is returning to what she does best - stand-up. And you can catch her at The Anvil on Wednesday 21 October.

Her new tour Bad at Quiz Shows, Good with Weirdos promises to be a show of chaotic brilliance, where half-formed thoughts on the deeply ordinary transform into the surreal and extraordinary. From going into hiding after the first ever celebrity Traitors, to making cow udder couture on Sewing Bee, Lucy proves that normal is very overrated.

As well as her appearances on shows such as The Wheel (BBC1) and Would I Lie To You (BBC1), Lucy starred in and co-wrote the highly rated sitcom Meet The Richardsons (Dave), and co-wrote the Channel 4 series Hullraisers. She also hosted Jon & Lucy's Odd Couples (Channel 4).

The show is suitable for ages 14 and over.

Tickets are priced £27.50. Contact the Anvil Arts box office on 01256 844244 or visit https://www.anvilarts.org.uk/events/lucy-beaumont.
