Where to see Santa in Basingstoke and Deane
It’s the most wonderful time of the year and Basingstoke and Deane is brimming with festive fun and seasonal sparkle! One highlight of the season is to make magical ‘santa-mental’ memories with a visit to see Santa.
There are lots of opportunities to see the main man himself in on the lead up to Christmas Day. Here’s your guide Santa grottos and experiences in Basingstoke and Deane this year including immersive experiences, in museums, at farms and as part of a brand new theatre show.
Immersive experiences
- The Magical Christmas Adventure at Four Kingdoms
The UK's multi-award-winning immersive Santa North Pole experience, creating incredible memories and excitement for every family returns to Four Kingdoms. Head on a Magical Christmas Adventure to the North Pole. Take off from Four Kingdoms in Santa’s spaceship and to journey to the North Pole where you’ll meet an array of fun, friendly characters from elves to talking bears; not forgetting the main man, Santa! Enjoy a snowball fight at the Ice Castle, watch a special performance from one of the North pole’s top performers at the Glacier Theatre and visit The Imaginerium, where all the toys are created. There’s a brand new show for 2025 to immerse the entire family in a unique Christmas experience full of fun, laughter and creating magical memories to last a lifetime.

- Christmas show experience – The Christmas Dragon
Get swept up in the magic of Christmas and enjoy a delicious breakfast with Santa before the Christmas Dragon show at Proteus Creation Space. The fun begins in the festive surroundings, where you will meet some of the characters from the show and spend some special time chatting with Father Christmas before the show begins. The show itself is specially crafted for the youngest theatre-goers and their families, creating magical Christmassy core memories that will last a lifetime.
Available from Monday 22 to Wednesday 24 December at 9.30am.

Grottos
- Milestones Museum
Meet Father Christmas in his magical Milestones grotto tucked within the heart of Milestones' charming, decorated indoor streets from Saturday 22 November to Sunday 21 December.
Tickets cost £28 for one adult and one child. Tickets include an opportunity to meet Father Christmas and a special gift for children.
- Festival Place
Visit Santa’s grotto in Festival Place for a truly magical Christmas experience for all the family from Saturday 1 November to Wednesday 24 December. Quiet Time is the first 30 minutes of every Sunday. Tickets cost £6.50 per child, with a £1.50 booking fee per transaction.
- Millers Ark Animals
Santa and his elf will be in the Magical Grotto at the Millers Ark Santa Special Open Days on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November and Saturday 6 and Sunday 7, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 December.
Ticket: Farm entry £14 adults, £13 children 2 years and over. Santa grotto visit £8 extra each child. Under 10s only for grotto presents. Pre-booking required.
- The Wellington Arms
Step into the magic of Christmas at The Wellington Arms with Santa’s Magical Morning. Designed for children aged two to 10, this experience offers all the wonder of Christmas in a warm, relaxed setting and includes a personal visit to a beautifully decorated Santa’s Grotto.
Tickets: £25. One-day event on Monday 22 December 2025.
Breakfast or lunch with Santa
- Take the whole family for a magical festive treat at Silchester Farm. Expect a cosy, joy-filled experience where little ones can meet the man in red, enjoy a special gift and soak up the festive spirit at a Brunch or Lunch with Father Christmas.
- Santa Claus is making a pit stop at The Hatch. Breakfast with Santa is available on Saturday 6, Saturday 13, Saturday 20 and Tuesday 23 December.
Pricing: £12 per child. - Start the day right at The Swan in Sherbourne St John. Enjoy breakfast with Santa on Saturdays 6, 13, 20 and 23 December Each child will receive a tasty kid’s breakfast, a drink, an activity pack, and the unforgettable chance to meet Santa.
Pricing: £12 per child. - Santa will be stopping by the Stag and Hounds, Harvester where little ones can once again enjoy a festive morning filled with delicious food, fun activities and a special visit from Father Christmas himself. Breakfast with Santa is available on selected dates throughout December – Saturday 6 and Sunday 7, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14, Saturday 20 to Wednesday 24 December. Each child will receive a tasty kid’s breakfast, a drink, an activity pack and the unforgettable chance to meet Santa.
Pricing: £11.99 per child £12.99 per child on Christmas Eve (24th December) - Treat yourself to a magical ‘Breakfast with Santa' at the White Hart in Overton. Indulge in a delicious breakfast while enjoying the festive spirit, including a Christmas gift on Sunday 21 December from 9am to midday.
- What a better way to keep up the energy levels this Christmas with a hearty breakfast at The Fox and Hounds in Tadley. Breakfast with Santa is available on Saturdays 6, 13 and 21 December.
